Aaron Black was born in 2005 when a reasonably (but not terribly) successful screenwriter plucked the name from the tattered pages of an old Parsippany, New Jersey phone book. He lives high in the Santa Monica Mountains, in a modest castle with adequate plumbing, a mole problem and an endless supply of First Gulf War ready-to-eat-meals. Every two weeks or so, he lowers the drawbridge and ventures out into the wilderness to uncover some fresh, egregious violation of the common good and then scurries home to tell about it on thewreckoning.net. He toyed with "Accountability" as a title for the site, but then could only expect about two hits per month, as opposed to his lofty goal of six. He considers referring to himself in the third-person to be as close as he will ever get to playing in the NBA.
